About

For class \"B\" beer permittees and class \"C\" liquor licensees. Allows for the manufacture of beer and high alcoholic content beer on the premises for on-premises consumption.

Who Applies Class \"C\" liquor licensees and class \"B\" beer permittees wishing to manufacture and sell beer containing not more than 12% percent alcohol by weight for consumption on the premises and for sale to class \"A\" wholesale beer distributors.

When To Apply Before manufacturing beer.

Initial Requirements Only class \"C\" liquor licensees and class \"B\" beer permittees may apply for the special class \"A\" beer permit (Brewpub). No other licenses or permits qualify. Applicants must file a $10,000 surety bond payable to the Alcoholic Beverages Division. Payment of beer barrel taxes at a rate of $5.89 per 31 gallon barrel is also required. A Federal Brewer\'s Notice may also be required. Please contact the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) https://www.ttb.gov/.

Duration The permit expires annually.
