For retail native wine establishments. Allows commercial establishments to sell Iowa native wine for on-premises consumption. Also allows carry-out sales of Iowa native wine. Sunday sales are included.

Who Applies Any individual or organization wishing to sell native wine for on-premises consumption and for carry-out of native wine in original, unopened containers.

When To Apply Before selling native wine for on- or off-premises consumption.

Initial Requirements Application requires proof of dramshop liability insurance, the endorsement of the local authority, and observance of local ordinances governing licensed establishments. Permittees must also attain an Iowa Sales Tax Permit, an Iowa Food Establishment Permit, an Iowa Sunday Sales Privilege if beer and wine will be sold/served on Sunday, and a Federal Occupational Tax Permit. Applicant Qualifications: Applicant must be 21 years of age or older, an U.S. citizen and an Iowa resident or a registered corporation, having no felony convictions within the past 5 years, possessing \"good moral character\" as defined in the Iowa Code section 123.3(34) and good financial standing.

Duration One year, 14 days, or 5 days.

Processing Time 45 days.
