Who Applies An individual or organization wishing to sell wine at wholesale.

When To Apply Before selling wine to retailers.

Initial Requirements – Filing of a $5,000 surety bond – A Basic Permit issued by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau of the U.S. Department of Treasury (TTB) – Proof of control of the property to be licensed (deed, lease, final sales contract) – Sketch of the premises to be licensed – Proof of zoning

Duration 12 months

Processing Time 45 days

Fee Structure $750

Renewal Requirements Permit must be renewed on an annual basis. Same requirements as when the permit was initially issued.
