For non-profit clubs (members and guests only). Allows non-profit clubs to sell alcoholic liquor, wine, and beer for on-premises consumption only; no carry-out sales. Sales are restricted to members and guests only, not the general public.

Who Applies Any non-profit organization or association wishing to sell liquor, wine, and beer at retail for on-premises consumption to regular dues-paying members and their guests.
When To Apply Before selling liquor, wine, or beer to members and their guests.
Initial Requirements - Proof of control of the property to be licensed (deed, lease, final sales contract) - Sketch of the premises to be licensed - Dramshop liability insurance coverage for the duration of the license. The dramshop insurance carrier must endorse the coverage. - Local authority approval. A local authority is either the city council or the county board of supervisors, depending on where the premises to be licensed is located.
Duration Variable: 12 months, 8 months, 14 days, or 5 days
Processing Time 45 days
Fee Structure Fee is based on population where the licensed premises is located, amount of club members, whether the club is a veterans organization, and duration of the license. Total license fee ranges from $32.50 to $780.
Renewal Requirements Only the 12-month duration of the license can be renewed. Renewal requirements are the same as initial requirements.
