Who Applies Persons who wish to operate a warehouse for the storage of grain or other agricultural products for others. Grain storage has a mandatory licensing requirement, other products do not.
When To Apply Upon business start up or when taking over a warehouse operation from another person.
Initial Requirements Application, CPA audit or review level financial statement, minimum net worth of $0.25 per bushel of capacity, certificate of insurance for products to be stored and a tariff of storage rates.
Duration Annual license which expires 3 months after the company fiscal year end. New licenses are prorated from time of application to the first post-fiscal year expiration date.
Processing Time 14 days average.

Renewal Requirements Yearly renewal fee of $58-$440 and fiscal year end CPA audit or review level financial statement.
