A sports wagering license is required for any Iowa licensee that is currently authorized to conduct gambling games at a pari-mutuel racetrack enclosure or a licensee authorized to operate an excursion gambling boat or gambling structure and is requesting authorization to conduct sports wagering.

When To Apply Application must be filed with the administrator of the Racing and Gaming Commission at least 30-60 days prior to the proposed first day of wagering.

Fee Structure $45,000 initial fee; $10,000 renewal fee
