Annual Temporary Food Establishment License

Department of Inspections, Appeals, and Licensing

About

An Annual Temporary Food Establishment License is an annual license that is valid for the entire state of Iowa. Persons who operate simultaneously at more than one event within the state are required to have a separate license for each food stand. Annual Temporary Food License applications that are not received, processed, and approved prior to operating will require a single event temporary food license until the annual license is approved and issued. An Annual Temporary Event License covers both events and Farmer’s Markets throughout the state. We do ask for 30 day processing time for this application, and that you list your primary county of operation.
