When To Apply Before transporting oversize/overweight load.
Initial Requirements A certificate of insurance must be in effect for the duration of the permit. Carrier selects routes using construction and embargo maps, vertical clearance maps and checks with the department to ensure no changes.
Duration One year.
Processing Time A permit is issued the day of application.
