Who Applies Any individual or organization wishing to sell wine at retail in original unopened containers.

When To Apply Before selling wine to retail customers or to on-premises retailers.

Initial Requirements Application requires the endorsement of the local authority and observance of local ordinances governing licensed establishments, an Iowa Sales tax Permit, and a Federal Occupational Tax Permit 513.684.2979. Applicant Qualifications: Applicant must be 21 years of age or older, an U.S. citizen and an Iowa resident or a registered corporation, having no felony convictions within the past 5 years, possessing \”good moral character\” as defined in the Iowa Code section 123.3(34) and good financial standing.

Duration One year, 8 months, or 6 months.

Processing Time 45 days.
