Who Applies Any person in the business of taking, possessing or selling underused, undesirable or injurious fish from the waters of the state must obtain a license.

When To Apply Applications may be submitted at any time during the year.

Initial Requirements A monthly report of live weight is required by the Administrative Code of Iowa 482.14.

Duration Valid from the date of issue to January 10 of the next calendar year.

Processing Time Two weeks.

Fee Structure Resident License: $202 Non-Resident License: $402

Renewal Requirements Commercial license is issued annually; it is valid from the date of issue to January 10 of the succeeding calendar year.

Exam None.
