Who Applies Any person wishing to operate a migrant labor camp must obtain a permit. Migrant labor camp means a camp that provides housing to seven or more people.

When To Apply The migrant labor camp may not begin operations until application has been made and a permit is issued.

Initial Requirements Application for Permit and Compliance Checklist that includes a camp diagram.

Duration Permit expires one year after the date of issue.

Processing Time A permit application and a request for inspection of the labor camp should be submitted to the Department of Public Health 60 days prior to date of labor camp opening.
