Who Applies All persons participating in any capacity in a race meeting, an excursion gambling boat, or other gambling establishment must obtain an occupational license from the Commission.

When To Apply Before beginning work in any gambling establishment.

Initial Requirements All positions require an extensive background check performed by the Racing and Gaming Commission and the Department of Public Safety\’s Division of Criminal Investigation and Bureau of Identification will conduct a search and classification of finger prints.

Duration A license issued by the Commission is valid until the end of the second calendar year following the year of issue.
