License to utilize a dock for commercial use, when the dock is located over public waters.

Who Applies Any owner/operator of a business of any kind which utilizes a dock as a part of a business, where the dock is located on or over public waters, must apply for and obtain a Commercial Dock Permit.
When To Apply Applications can be submitted at any time, but the recommended time to apply is prior to the boating season; November-March.
Initial Requirements None.
Duration One year or up to five years.
Processing Time Site inspection is required by the department prior to permit issuance. Estimated processing time is 4 weeks.
Fee Structure Commercial dock fees are based upon the size and configuration of the dock structure.
Renewal Requirements Does not pertain.
Exam Does not pertain.
