About

Nail technologists apply sculptured nails, nail extensions, wraps, overlays, nail art or any other nail technique to the fingernails and toenails of a person. Also, they manicure people\’s nails, remove excess hair (by use of depilatories, wax or tweezers), and massage the hands, arms, ankles, and feet.

When To Apply After completing education requirements.

Initial Requirements Completion of a program approved by the board and passing score on the national licensure examination.

Duration Two years.

Processing Time 30 days after all required materials are submitted.
