Child Labor Work Permit
About
One form is used for three different functions. Work permits are required for children 10 through 15 years of age, unless an exemption from Iowa Code Section 92.17 applies. Certificates of Age are issued for children 16 years of age or older if requested by the employer. Street trade permits allow children aged 10 to 16 to work in street trades such as delivering newspapers and selling door to door.
