Who Applies Asbestos abatement companies.

When To Apply A permitted company that intends to engage in an asbestos project shall notify the Division of Labor and Department of Natural Resources (DNR) at least ten days before beginning the project. Special provisions apply for emergencies.

Initial Requirements See 875 Iowa Administrative Code Chapter 155.

Duration The duration is set forth by the contractor on the notification. If these dates change the DNR and the Division of Labor must be notified immediately.

Fee Structure No fee required by the Division of Labor.
