Who Applies Any person selling, distributing, advertising, soliciting orders for, offering or exposing for sale, agricultural or vegetable seeds must obtain a license.
When To Apply Application must be made and a license issued before a person engages in business in Iowa.
Initial Requirements Bond may be required.
Duration All permits expire on the first day of July following the date of issuance.
Processing Time Varies.
Fee Structure The fee for a new permit is $10 and the fee for a renewed permit is based on the gross annual sales of seeds in Iowa, $30-$1,500.
Renewal Requirements None.
