The EMS-Instructor course is designed to assist experienced emergency medical service providers in providing the highest quality instruction to their students. The course emphasizes adult learning, curriculum and lesson plan development, performance testing, and state policies and procedures. When To Apply After EMS Instructor requirements have been met. Initial Requirements An applicant for an EMS instructor endorsement must be currently certified as an emergency medical care provider or currently licensed as a registered nurse, physician assistant or physician.
