Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) are supportive services provided to individuals with a mental illness.  These services are funded by Medicaid or the managed care organizations for individuals who are eligible for Medicaid and meet the level of care requirements for the service.  Services can only be provided by Medicaid enrolled providers.
